Patna:With the objective of spreading awareness about cancer and promoting early detection, Buddha Cancer Centre successfully organized the Cancer Awareness Cricket Match 2026 at Urja Stadium, Patna. The event aimed to convey the strong message that cancer can be defeated through awareness, timely diagnosis, and collective community effort.
The program was graced by Chief Guest Mr. Syed Saba Karim, Former Indian Cricketer, and Shri Sanjeev Chaurasiya, Hon’ble MLA, who inaugurated the event and appreciated the initiative taken by Buddha Cancer Centre to combine sports with public health awareness.
The event was further honored by the presence of several distinguished guests, including Shri Sunil Kumar,Shri Shashank Shekhar Sinha, Shri Deepak Barnwal, Shri Jitendra Rai Nath, Shri Ajit Kumar Pandey, Dr. (Prof.) Manish Mandal, and Shri Ranjit Shankar Parshad, whose participation added great value and encouragement to the cause.
An exciting cricket match was played between Team Warrior and Team Spartan, witnessing enthusiastic participation and excellent sportsmanship. Team Warrior emerged victorious in a thrilling contest, symbolizing determination, unity, and resilience—qualities essential in the fight against cancer.
Speaking on the occasion, the organizers emphasized the importance of cancer awareness, regular screening, and early diagnosis in reducing the burden of cancer. The event concluded with a vote of thanks to all guests, players, organizers, volunteers, and supporters who contributed to making the program a success.
Through such initiatives, Buddha Cancer Centre reaffirmed its commitment to spreading cancer awareness and working towards building a healthier and cancer-aware society.
